Candiger: The Valiant Spirit (The Magenta One) Magenta is the vibrant "active" shade of Tuesday, bridging the soft compassion of pink with the fiery courage of Mars. In Thai culture, this specific hue—known as See Ban-yen—symbolizes a warrior’s resilience and a spirit that commands respect while attracting kindness from others. The "Valiant Spirit" variant uses this intense color to empower its owner to face daily challenges with unshakeable determination and the refined authority of a "Pocket Guardian".
Candiger – Tiger Amulet Candy From the "Mystic Guardians" Collection by Juthamas Vadhanapanich
Candiger is a modern reinterpretation of the "Tiger Amulet Candy"—a revered Thai spiritual charm with deep cultural roots. Though it resembles a small, round candy, this is not an edible treat. In traditional Thai belief, the Tiger Amulet Candy is a sacred object, infused with mystical energy, particularly drawn from the symbolic power of the tiger.
In Thai folklore and spiritual practice, the tiger represents strength, charisma, and supernatural protection. Candiger channels these values in a bold, stylized art toy form, bridging ancient wisdom with contemporary design.

The Inspiration Behind Candiger

I’ve always been deeply fascinated by and devoted to Tiger Amulet Candies (Look-om Suea)—a sacred object in Thai spiritual culture. Over the years, I’ve collected them from various temples, each carrying its own unique energy and charm.
One night, as I was just about to fall asleep, I felt an unshakable realization rise within me— “I have to turn the Tiger Amulet Candy into an Art Toy.” It wasn’t just an idea—it felt like a calling. I immediately got up and began sketching what would become Candiger.
Candiger is more than a collectible figure. It’s a personal manifestation of my faith and reverence, a reimagining of the Tiger Amulet through my own creative lens, grounded in the spiritual essence of Thai beliefs.

The Mystical Powers Behind the Tiger Amulet Candy:

🔸 Charm & Attraction Although tigers are fierce by nature, they are believed to possess strong metaphysical charisma. The amulet is thought to enhance likability, attract kindness, and make one's words more persuasive and respected.
🔸 Invincibility & Protection Seen as a guardian beast, the tiger symbolizes fearlessness and resilience. The amulet is believed to offer protection from harm, danger, curses, and misfortune—both physical and spiritual.
🔸 Authority & Presence Worn or carried for its ability to boost one's aura, Candiger is ideal for those in leadership, negotiation, or public-facing roles. It enhances personal presence and commands respect.
🔸 Warding Off Evil & Negativity Traditionally believed to repel black magic, bad luck, and toxic energies, the Tiger Amulet Candy serves as a spiritual shield for its keeper.
🔸 Portable Power Compact and lightweight—just like a real candy—it was historically easy to carry in one’s pocket or wallet. When activated through ritual or intention, it's believed to bring blessings and strength to its holder.
